American Education Week
It's American Education Week. How are you celebrating?
Twenty-two years ago I was almost hired to be a second-grade teacher. Before I got the phone call, another principal in the same district hired me to be a Kindergarten teacher. I was just a bit disappointed because I had been a student teacher in second grade. That first job was the start of my passion for early-childhood education. God's plans for me are always better than my plans for myself.
I'm proud to be a Georgia Kindergarten teacher!
